Armstrong HFH is proud to announce Claire Osborne as our new Community Engagement Leader. Claire will be helping us with our Thrivent Building on Faith build between January – June 2020. We will be rehabbing a house in Kittanning with the financial help of Thrivent Financial. As part of this project we also need to have churches involved. One of Claire’s first assignments will be to engage local churches with raising funds and getting volunteers to help with the rehabbing of the Wilson St. house.

Please join us as at the 2020 Faith Build Information Meeting as we share
our thoughts on how to engage churches to work together with Armstrong
Habitat for Humanity to provide housing for a family in need in our
community. A mission trip without leaving your home.

Armstrong Habitat for Humanity dedicated 602 Hill St. in Manorville to Angelyn Waldor, her daughter, Laylie and son, Landen. It was an uphill battle completing this house so the family could move in by Christmas but we persevered and succeeded. Thank you to everyone who helped to make Angelyn’s dream of owning a home a reality. It is a true miracle to see our mission statement carried out by so many individuals and organizations.

Once again two college groups are graciously giving up their spring break to volunteer for Armstrong HFH from March 8 – 13. We are looking for churches to provide lunch and dinner for the week. If you can provide one of these please contact Claire at
or by phone at 724 -691 -8758.

Future Projects –– Save the Dates!

Saturday, May 30 and September 26, 2020. This is an exciting event in the in the summer and fall when when we gather over 100 volunteers to revitalize and beautify the neighborhood of Wick City.

Saturday, March 14, 2020 and Katie Charlton, Armstrong County District Attorney,  will be the Honorary crew leader. This event gives women the chance to learn some construction skills or to enhance the ones they already have while rehabbing a home.
No experience needed.
Come one come all.
